What’s your favourite Amazon animal?
I can’t pick, but if I absolutely had to, the poison dart frog might be it. They come in a range of vivid colours and just happen to be amongst the most toxic animals on earth. In fact, secretions from poison dart frogs have historically been used to coat poison darts by the indigenous tribes of the Amazon.
Plus, what’s not to love about frogs anyway?
Colour the poison dart frog along with nine other fascinating species with our latest set of printable templates. You could encourage kids to do their own research to learn more about each animal.
The Amazon animals included in this collection of colouring pages are:
- anaconda
- cougar
- tapir
- piranha
- poison dart frog
- toucan
- howler monkey
- blue morpho butterfly
- macaw
- sloth (of course!)
Colouring is fun and relaxing for all ages—adults included—and this set of templates also makes a great learning support for a unit on rainforests or the Amazon jungle.
