Hereโs a craft you can pull together in around 5 minutes from stuff you probably already have at home. It then becomes a fun DIY toy for the kids, gotta love that!
This bottle cap craft was actually dreamed up by my 5-year-old. The original version was made out of beer bottle caps taped together with rice bubbles inside.
Creative yes, but it didnโt make that much of a noise so I changed it just a little bit by using plastic milk bottle lids and colourful duct and electrical tape.
Hereโs how we made themโฆ
DIY shakers bottle cap craft instructions
You will need:
- Plastic milk bottle caps washed and dried (2 per shaker)
- Small plastic beads
- Duct tape
- Scissors
How to:
Put some beads inside one milk bottle cap.
Put a second cap on top and tape it together with duct tape.
Cut out a little shape from duct tape to decorate.
The simpler the shape, the easier this step will be because the duct tape is very sticky.
Make lots of shakers so you can make even more noise!
Thatโs all there is to it. Now itโs time to playโฆ
