How adorable—and incredible—are penguins? Especially the cold-climate species that inhabit Antarctica and the subantarctic regions like the Adelie and Emperor penguins. They withstand freezing temperatures and blizzards for months on end, at the same time preventing an egg from touching the ground.

Not that’s parental dedication!
